From the Barcode Scan App you can create sales orders directly in Exact Online. This can be done by scanning barcodes, but also by searching for items manually.

To create a sales order, navigate from the main menu to the outbound orders by pressing the "Out" button:

The list of all open sales orders will then appear. In the top right corner above the table you will find a button to create a new sales order:

In the customer field, select the customer placing the order. Type the first few letters of the customer name and select the customer from the list:

Next, select the items the customer wants to receive. Select the barcode field to do so. Scan the barcode of the item or type the first few letters of the item name and select it from the list:

The selected item will then be added to the sales order:

Optionally, press the down arrow next to the item name to add notes to this item or to modify the sales price:

Optionally add more items as described above. Finish by adding a note and press submit. The sales order will be created in Exact Online. Once the sales order has been created, you will be navigated directly to the newly created order where you can process it immediately.
